Lisa Glenn has been baking irresistable desserts for decades. She uses high quality, fresh ingredients and bakes everything from scratch. In April of 2014, Lisa won first place in the dessert contest at the Suncoast BBQ Bash for her Chocolate Salted Caramel Shortbread Bars. Stop by her booth at the Central Sarasota Farmers Market and check out the Cheesecakeme website.
Sue Sweeney is a painter, illustrator, mother, and owner of SUES Handbags. She creates one of a kind, all original, hand painted bags. Sue carefully selects the vintage handbags that she uses and transforms them into functional works of art.
700 years is a long time. But that’s how long the Haraki family has been growing tea in Japan. Now, Sarasota is fortunate to have access to Haraka-Gordon green tea products.
Stop by their booth at the market and pick up one of the many variations of green tea products. They offer green tea matcha powder (stone ground tea leaves). Because it is a powder, you can mix matcha with a variety of things including juice, lemonade, smoothies, yogurt, ice cream and more.
Sun Crazy Gardens, LLC is the professional nursery and landscape business of Jason Gioia. He offers an impressive array of herbs, flowering plants, and succulents. Be sure to stop by his new booth at the market.
For your culinary pursuits, you can pick up potted herbs like sweet or opal basil, sage, cilantro, parsley or oregano.
